David Kilby, Managing Editor CRANBURY Rabbi Eliezer Zaklikovsky of the Chabad Jewish Center in Monroe received approval from the Township Committee to place a 6-foot-tall menorah next to the Christmas tree in Veterans Memorial Park, but it brought up a discussion about whether the park is appropriate for any type of holiday decorations with religious affiliations.

An Austin family is absorbing the theft of a cedar tree along Loop 360, a tree family members decorate annually in memory of husband-brother-father Jack Hale, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2007.
